4 Equivalence Trial
Испытание, проводимое с целью показать, что разница между клиническими эффектами двух или более видов лечения не является клинически существенной. Обычно доказательством является тот факт, что истинная разница между видами лечения наиболее вероятно находится между верхней и нижней границами эквивалентности клинически принятых различий. На практике большинство исследований клинической эквивалентности являются исследованиями по доказательству того, что эффективность лечения (препарата) не ниже, чем у препарата активного контроля.
